By now, because of the tremendous publicity it generated, the bold scenes of Cristine Reyes in her launching movie “Green Paradise” are what movie fans are so excited about. So it won’t be surprising if the movie’s opening will draw big crowds.
Among Cristine’s much anticipated bold and sexy scenes in the movie (directed initially by Bing Santos and continued by Kant Cheung of Hong Kong) is her lovemaking scenes with her leading man, Andrew Schimmer, wherein her nipples showed through her thin and sheer chemise.
It took much persuasion for Cristine to agree to this particular scene. She was told it would be done in good taste and “artfully.”
If Cristine was reluctant to do skin-baring scenes for the movie, on his part Andrew readily agreed to do some butt exposures because he believes that for an actor to get noticed, he should be willing and ready to do something out of the ordinary, if not something shocking.
Filming of “Green Paradise” was wrought with intrigues and problems. Shooting was stopped for a while and Cristine did not want to continue shooting, unless the producer, Lorenzo Kho, would replace the original director (and the script revised), and that was when the Hong Kong director came into the picture.
But it wasn’t because she dreaded to be asked about her nipple-baring scene that Cristine did not attend the press conference of “Green Paradise.” Her press statement (issued by her publicist, Leo Bukas) said she wasn’t in the proper frame of mind, emotionally, because of her problem with former beauty queen Carlene Aguilar, mother of her boyfriend Dennis Trillo’s son, who she sued for grave slander and oral defamation.
Cristine also denied rumors saying she’s now contemplating of quitting showbiz because of her current emotional problems. In fact, there were some projects she rejected. Like the TV series “Joaquin Bordado” wherein she would have been Robin Padilla’s leading lady. She also reportedly declined movie projects with Regal Entertainment and Viva Films.
There’s also this rumor saying Cristine is all set to move over to ABS–CBN, but this, Cristine denied. The sexy actress is under contract with GMA Artist Center.
